Clash of Adventurers is free-to-play open world Massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG). Devsland Soft was established in July 2023 to develop the game[1] which is set to release in Q4 2025 on Steam [2]. Clash of Adventurers is currently in pre-alpha [3].
Gameplay
[edit]Players take on the role of an adventurer within the world of Lumeria where they will be able to complete quests, defeat creatures, explore, engage in Player Versus Player (PvP) combat, craft and unlock class skills.[4][5] Players will control their character in a Third-person view within an open world shared with all other players on their server.
Zones on the map are separated into two categories, peaceful and hostile. Peaceful zones have PvP disabled and hostile zones have PvP enabled [6].
Story
[edit]Clash of Adventurers takes place in the fantasy world of Lumeria, where Humans and Deities once co-existed. Having learned how to utilise Mana from their Gods, Humankind soon trapped the Deities, imprisoned them inside of structures such as Temples and harnessed their powers. This led to the aggressive expansion of Humanity and the destruction of much of the natural world.
With this knowledge lost to time, the Temples that held the Deities were destroyed, freeing them from their imprisonment and allowing them to unleash their wrath upon Mankind. much of Humanity fled to the island of Ciliora, hoping to escape the devastation caused by the Gods. Players begin their adventure on this island, having mysteriously arrived via a portal to another dimension.[7]
Classes
[edit]Classes in Clash of Adventurers will take on the role of either an Attack, Defend or Support role. When creating a character players will select either physical or magical aptitude. Early within the game they will then be able to select a class based on their chosen aptitude. Physical classes include Berserker (Melee Attack), Guardian (Melee Defend) and Marksman (Ranged Attack). Magical classes include Sorcerer (Ranged Attack) and Enchanter (Ranged Support).[8]
