Draft:Circle to Search
Submission declined on 16 March 2025 by Caleb Stanford (talk). This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of web content). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.

Circle to Search
[edit]Circle to Search is a visual search feature developed by Google that allows users to search for information by drawing a circle around objects or text on their device screens. It was introduced in January 2024 and is available on select Android devices, including flagship smartphones from the Samsung Galaxy series and the Google Pixel series.[1]
Overview
[edit]Circle to Search allows users to look up information without leaving their current app. By long-pressing the home button or navigation bar, users can select content on their screen by circling, highlighting, or tapping. The feature integrates with Google's AI-powered multisearch, which analyzes both images and text to provide relevant search results. According to reports, Google is also working on expanding the functionality to allow Circle to Search to work with videos, enabling users to search for objects or text directly within video content.[2] [3]
