Chamod Dayashan

K.M.S. Chamod Dayashan (born January 1, 2000) is a Sri Lankan graphic designer and UI/UX specialist known for his work in branding, digital design, and government-sector technology projects. He has worked with both public institutions and private companies, notably contributing to the Mahaweli Authority of Sri Lanka and SysteliganceIT (Pvt) Ltd. As a freelance designer, he has completed over 70 creative projects globally.

Early life and education

Chamod Dayashan was born in Padiyathalawa, Sri Lanka. He studied at Padiyathalawa National School and later pursued a Higher National Diploma in Information Technology at the Sri Lanka Institute of Advanced Technological Education (SLIATE), Hardy ATI Ampara. He also holds certifications in UI/UX Design from the California Institute of the Arts and various digital and technical qualifications including Google IT Support and Google Analytics.

Career

Freelance Work

Since 2020, Dayashan has operated as a freelance graphic and UI/UX designer, offering services in logo design, branding, responsive UI design, and digital media production. His tools of expertise include Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, and Adobe XD.

Mahaweli Authority of Sri Lanka

He served as a Trainee Web Designer from November 2023 to May 2024, where he developed a cloud-integrated internal Contact Book App. From May to November 2024, he worked as a Management Assistant (Contract), focusing on administrative support, internal reporting, and communication.

SysteliganceIT (Pvt) Ltd

From February to May 2024, he worked as a Junior UI/UX Designer, contributing to web and mobile interface projects, designing wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes.
