Early Life and Education

Nabhan earned his Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Damascus University Medical School before completing residency training in internal medicine at Loyola University in Chicago and a fellowship in hematology and oncology at Northwestern Univrersity. He later obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on healthcare management from Loyola University Quinlan School of Buisiness. He earned fellowship status in the American College of Physicians (FACP), reflecting his contributions to clinical medicine and professional service.

Career

Nabhan has worked in a wide range of leadership roles across oncology care delivery, drug development, strategy, and clinical program leadership. He was at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, IL where he held the position of Director of the Division of Hematology/Oncology, Fellowship Director of the Hematology/Oncology Program, and the Cancer Institute Medical Director. At the University of Chicago, he was an associate professor of medicine and the medical director of the outpatient clinical cancer center. He transitioned to Cardinal Health in late 2016 where he was a vice president and Chief Medical Officer of Cardinal Health Specialty Solutions. He was a Senior Vice President and the Chairman of the Precision Oncology Alliance at Caris Life Sciences where he led the expansion of the network across the country fostering collaborations with academic institutions and healthcare systems on genomics and real-world evidence. He currently serves as the Chief Medical Officer & Head of Strategy at Ryght AI, Inc, working to bring generative AI and innovative approaches to clinical trial processes and operations.

Research and Publications

Nabhan has published widely in peer-reviewed medical journals on topics including Lymphoma and other hematologic malignancies, real-world data in oncology care, precision-medicine adoption, quality-improvement in cancer care systems, communication and shared decision-making in cancer treatment.
