CENOS Simulation Software is an engineering simulation software platform developed by CENOS SIA,[1] headquartered in Riga, Latvia. Founded in 2017 by three PhD physicists and mathematicians, the software specializes in simulations of electromagnetics, induction heating, radio frequency, wireless charging and thermal management. CENOS[2] utilizes open-source computational algorithms tailored specifically for practical engineering applications, aiming to significantly reduce design cycles and research and development costs in industries including automotive, aerospace, electronics, and metal manufacturing.[3][4]
History
[edit]CENOS[5] was founded in Riga, Latvia, in 2017 by physicists and mathematicians Dr. Mihails Scepanskis,[6] Dr. Antons Misevics, and Dr. Sandis Spolitis. Motivated by the necessity for more accessible simulation tools[7] tailored for induction heating[8] and electromagnetics, they launched the first simulation tool, CENOS Induction Heating,[9] in 2018.
In subsequent years, CENOS[10] expanded its simulation tool line with additional modules in electromagnetics and thermal management, continually refining usability and expanding its user base internationally.[11]
In 2024, CENOS announced plans for a cloud-based simulation platform to further increase accessibility and collaborative possibilities for engineers globally.[12]
