Caipira samba (in Portuguese: samba caipira) is a subgenre of Caipira music.
Description
[edit]It emerged in São Paulo, originating from the fusion of the ancient customs of the region's black communities with Caipira culture.
It is different from Carioca samba, which is a developed genre in Bahia and Rio de Janeiro and quite popular during Brazilian Carnival.[1]
