Submission declined on 2 April 2025 by Bonadea (talk). This submission appears to read more like an advertisement than an entry in an encyclopedia. Encyclopedia articles need to be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources, not just to materials produced by the creator of the subject being discussed. This is important so that the article can meet Wikipedia's verifiability policy and the notability of the subject can be established. If you still feel that this subject is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, please rewrite your submission to comply with these policies. This draft's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article. In summary, the draft needs multiple published sources that are: Declined by Bonadea 57 days ago.

Submission declined on 27 March 2025 by Sophisticatedevening (talk). This submission does not appear to be written in the formal tone expected of an encyclopedia article. Entries should be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources. Please rewrite your submission in a more encyclopedic format. Please make sure to avoid peacock terms that promote the subject. Declined by Sophisticatedevening 2 months ago. | ![]() |
Comment: After five declines, it is still pretty sure that the topic is still not notable. Most of the sources are press releases. Taking that out, along with a few others, we only have just one source. ToadetteEdit (7M articles) 19:00, 18 May 2025 (UTC)
Comment: I count 1 news article, 1 interview, and 7 press releases (press releases do not count towards notability), and they're all from the same website. If you want this article to be accepted, you should add 1 or 2 more independent, reliable sources and tone down the promotional language. —pythoncoder (talk | contribs) 16:26, 4 April 2025 (UTC)
Comment: No improvement in notability since the previous decline. Please address WP:COI before continuing. Greenman (talk) 08:50, 4 April 2025 (UTC)
Comment: run-of-the-mill promotion of a run-of-the-mill company. bonadea contributions talk 18:07, 2 April 2025 (UTC)
Boostlingo is a American language access technology company that provides language interpretation and translation solutions through a software platform.[1] Founded to address the challenges of interpreter coordination, accessibility, and scalability. Boostlingo has been featured in industry publications for its work in interpreting technology,[2] offering services such as on-demand interpretation, AI-powered translation, interpreter scheduling, and video conferencing integrations.[1]
History
[edit]The company raised $3.4 million in a Series A investment round to expand its software capabilities.[3]
In 2023, Mainsail Partners provided a growth equity investment to fund development and growth of its interpreting software tools[4]
Technology and Services
[edit]Boostlingo's platform supports healthcare systems, government agencies, and language service providers. Key features include:
- Language Interpretation and AI-powered Translation tools[5][1]
- 24/7 American Sign Language (ASL) support[6]
- Zoom and video conferencing integrations[7][1]
- Interpreter scheduling and compliance management[8][1]
- Remote Simultaneous Interpretation (RSI) tools[9]
In 2023, Boostlingo released "Boostlingo Hub," a network of language professionals to deliver interpreting, translation, and other language services.[10]
Acquisitions and Expansion
[edit]Boostlingo has expanded through key acquisitions:
- In 2022, Boostlingo acquired Interpreter Intelligence to enhance interpreter scheduling and compliance.[11]
- The company also acquired VoiceBoxer, a multilingual event platform, which was rebranded as BoostEvents.[12]
AI Advisory Board and Innovation
[edit]In 2024, Boostlingo launched an AI Advisory Board to guide development of its AI-driven language tools. The board guides the development of AI-driven tools for real-time language interpretation and meeting transcription.[2]
Remote Interpreter Textbook
[edit]The concept for The Remote Interpreter originated from a growing recognition of the need for a standardized knowledge base on remote interpreting practices. Dieter Runge, one of the authors involved in the project, first proposed the idea of a dedicated guide to remote interpreting in 2016 during a presentation at the American Translators Association conference in San Francisco.
According to Runge, the necessity for such a resource became increasingly clear in the following year as interpreters from diverse professional backgrounds began adapting to remote interpreting technologies, including the Boostlingo platform and similar interpreting delivery systems.[13]
Awards and Recognition
[edit]Boostlingo was listed in the Inc. 5000 and included in Inc.'s Best Workplaces list. The company was ranked on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing private companies in the United States and has also been honored as one of Inc.'s Best Workplaces. Boostlingo was recognized for its workplace environment and growth.[14]
Recognition and Industry Involvement
[edit]Boostlingo has been involved in high-profile industry events such as SXSW.[15] Caroline Remer was appointed as the company's first Vice President of Language Access in 2023.[16]
