Submission declined on 2 April 2025 by Bonadea (talk). This submission appears to read more like an advertisement than an entry in an encyclopedia. Encyclopedia articles need to be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources, not just to materials produced by the creator of the subject being discussed. This is important so that the article can meet Wikipedia's verifiability policy and the notability of the subject can be established. If you still feel that this subject is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, please rewrite your submission to comply with these policies. This draft's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article. In summary, the draft needs multiple published sources that are: Declined by Bonadea 5 days ago.

Submission declined on 27 March 2025 by Sophisticatedevening (talk). This submission does not appear to be written in the formal tone expected of an encyclopedia article. Entries should be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources. Please rewrite your submission in a more encyclopedic format. Please make sure to avoid peacock terms that promote the subject. Declined by Sophisticatedevening 11 days ago. | ![]() |
Comment: I count 1 news article, 1 interview, and 7 press releases (press releases do not count towards notability), and they're all from the same website. If you want this article to be accepted, you should add 1 or 2 more independent, reliable sources and tone down the promotional language. —pythoncoder (talk | contribs) 16:26, 4 April 2025 (UTC)
Comment: No improvement in notability since the previous decline. Please address WP:COI before continuing. Greenman (talk) 08:50, 4 April 2025 (UTC)

Boostlingo is an American technology company that develops software solutions for interpretation and translation services. Its platform combines on-demand interpreting, interpreter scheduling, artificial intelligence tools for live translation, and integrations with video conferencing software, enabling language access in medical, governmental, and business settings.[1]
History
[edit]Boostlingo was founded to expand access to interpreting services through digital tools, with a particular focus on supporting remote and on-demand workflows. The company initially focused on over-the-phone interpreting (OPI) and video remote interpreting (VRI). In 2018, Boostlingo raised $3.4 million in Series A funding, aimed at enhancing its platform’s technical capabilities and expanding its interpreter network.[2]
In 2021, the company received a growth equity investment from Mainsail Partners. By 2023, Boostlingo had expanded into new product areas including artificial intelligence, remote simultaneous interpretation (RSI), and multilingual event hosting.[3]
Technology and Services
[edit]Boostlingo offers a suite of tools that support language access for a variety of sectors including healthcare, legal, and education. The platform supports:
- Interpreter scheduling and management
- On-demand video and audio interpretation
- AI-powered live translation
- 24/7 American Sign Language Interpreting Support[4]
- Zoom and video conferencing integration[5]
- Remote simultaneous interpretation (RSI)[1]
In 2023, Boostlingo launched a new version of its platform (v4.1) featuring upgraded Zoom integration, multilingual support tools, and workflow automation.[5] It also introduced a video conferencing feature designed for interpreter-facilitated meetings.[6]
Acquisitions and Growth
[edit]To expand its capabilities, Boostlingo pursued a series of acquisitions:
- In 2022, it acquired Interpreter Intelligence, a scheduling and management software company for interpreters.[7]
- Later that year, it acquired VoiceBoxer, a multilingual event technology provider. The platform was subsequently rebranded as BoostEvents in 2023, aimed at supporting real-time interpretation in international meetings and webinars.[8]
In 2023, Boostlingo also launched the Boostlingo Hub, consolidating its services into a centralized interface for language access management.[1]
Branding and Strategic Initiatives
[edit]In 2023, the company underwent a brand refresh, introducing new AI-based tools and a modernized user interface across its platforms.[3] That same year, Boostlingo hosted a panel discussion at South by Southwest (SXSW) 2023 in Austin, Texas, on the future of language access and the role of technology in interpretation services.[9]
