Benjamin De Almeida, better known as Internet personality BENOFTHEWEEK, is a popular online figure with over 8 million followers on YouTube. Almeida was born on September the 8th, 1999 in Edmonton, Canada. He later moved to Massachusetts when he was just two years old at the time. Over nearly a decade and a half, BENOFTHEWEEK has grown to be a well-known individual online across multiple platforms.[1]

[edit]Almeida began his journey on YouTube all the way back in 2010, where he uploaded his first ever channel.[5] Shortly after, however, Ben's channel was removed off the platform for being in violation of Google AdSense Policies. The same year, he uploaded a new channel, BENOFTHEWEEK. Little did he know, him and this channel would go on to be one of the top comedy YouTubers on the entire platform.

[edit]Almeida has secured some significant collaborations over his career, including collaborations with MrBeast, Danny Gonzalez, and being featured on the Nickelodeon Nick News.[6] Benjamin has also collaborated with high-ticket brands like Dior and Prada, allowing him to use his platform to support important causes such as the Women’s Reproductive Rights Assistance Project.[7]
Notable Content
[edit]Benjamin has also produced plenty of notable content, including his notorious Zoom pranks in which he would join random digital Zoom meetings and play pranks on the hosts of the meetings. Almeida would later go on to produce many Omegle prank videos, similar to the original style of his Zoom pranks. After all was said and done, Ben deleted all his Zoom pranks videos. However, his Omegle prank videos remain uploaded as of May 8th, 2025.
