Founded in 2009 by young entrepreneur Vitaly Smilianets, [1] the company develops cloud-based Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, as well as applications for managing aviation and cargo operations. Its CargoBooking platform facilitates air cargo bookings and operational management for airlines and logistics providers. Vitaly Smilianets has expressed support for open-source initiatives within the aviation industry.[citation needed]
History
[edit]Established in 2009, [6] Awery Aviation Software initially focused on software for airline management. The company subsequently expanded its offerings to cover broader aspects of the aviation supply chain. Its software is utilized by airlines, air charter brokers, freight forwarders, express operators, and aviation service providers.[citation needed] By 2024, the company reported that its CargoBooking and eMagic software processed thousands of transactions per month globally. The company has also reported growth in processed transactions.
In 2024, Anna Balan, Head of CargoBooking, received the Young Airfreight Professional of the Year Award at the Air Cargo News Awards. [7]
In 2025, Awery Aviation Software won its fourth International Air Transport Association (IATA) ONE Record hackathon for the development of PHP:ONE, an open-source server designed to standardize data from diverse sources. [8] [9]
