Avea Life AG (stylised Avea) is a Swiss company based in Zug that develops and sells dietary supplements focused on longevity and healthy ageing.[2][1]

History

[edit]

The company was founded in 2021 by Duri Granziol, Sophie Chabloz, Teresa Budetta, and Pascal Rode.[1] In June 2022, it closed a CHF 2.5 million seed round led by Maximon, a Swiss longevity company builder.[3] A US$5 million seed extension followed in 2023.[4]

Operations

[edit]

Avea has been cited within the Swiss longevity industry alongside firms in nutrition, diagnostics and therapeutics aimed at extending healthspan.[2][5] Swiss business press reported that in 2023 the company moved manufacturing to Switzerland.[6]

In 2024, Bilanz reported that Avea had become profitable and highlighted growth in China via KOL marketing, with further expansion planned in Scandinavia, the United Kingdom and the Middle East.[1] Trade press has noted the company's product focus on NMN- and collagen-related supplements.[7] Several products have been listed on the Cologne List (Kölner Liste), a database of supplements tested for certain doping substances.[8][9][10]
