Artengo is a French brand specializing in products for racket sports, particularly tennis. It was established in 2006 by Decathlon .[1]
History
[edit]Originally, racket sports were represented under Decathlon's Inesis brand, which was created in 2000 for racket sports and expanded in 2002 to include golf equipment. Inesis initially served as a dual-purpose brand. However, Decathlon redefined its portfolio, leading to the creation of Artengo in 2006 as a dedicated brand for racket sports.
In May 2017, squash player Camille Serme partnered with Artengo to launch racket series. [2]
On January 3, 2022, French tennis player Gaël Monfils signed a five-year deal with Artengo, making the brand his official equipment provider for shoes, rackets, and apparel.[3][4]
Sports
[edit]Artengo provides products for six major racket sports: tennis, badminton, table tennis, squash, padel, and beach tennis. Additionally, it covers also regional sports such as frontenis in Spain and frescobol in Brazil.
