Comment: For an actor to be notable enough to merit its own article, he needs to have had significant roles in multiple notable films. The article doesn't show that.The article needs better sources. For example: Screen Rant is a marginally reliable source. Horror News is not a reliable source. Social media sites are not reliable sources. Andy Gates Freeman (born September 4, 1973) is an American actor known for The Blessed Ones.
Career
[edit]Andy Gates began his acting career in San Francisco, landing his first role in the indie film The Cleaning Lady in 2003 and made his debut in the holiday special A Christmas Carol.[1] He played the role of Spencer in the The Blessed Ones, a psychological thriller about a secretive death cult preparing for a mass suicide,[2] alongside a cast that included Tamzin Brown and Dave Vescio.[3] Gates discusses his character in The Blessed Ones further and he claims that the movie was based on the Heaven's Gate Cult.[4] Wild Eye Releasing has explained that they will release The Blessed Ones on DVD and cable television.[5]
Gates played in the horror comedy Garden Party Massacre next to Dawna Lee Heising, Lise Hart, and Nichole Bagby.[6] He played a supporting role in the horror movie Dead Afterlife, alongside a cast that included Dee Wallace, Mindy Robinson, and David Gere.[7] Andy Gates discussed how he built his brand in an interview[8] and he earned the Outstanding Acting Ensemble Award at the Zed Fest Film Festival.[9] He played the role of Steven in the movie The Nightmare House, which starred Catherine Grady, Joey Rae Blair, and Tara Erickson.[10] Gates became a member of Lost Order Films.[11] He starred in The 11th Patient horror movie.[12]
