Ajmal Chaliyam (born 29 July 1999) is an Indian music director and playback singer from Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. He is known for his independent Malayalam and Tamil music albums, several of which gained significant attention on online platforms.
Early life
[edit]Ajmal Chaliyam was born on 29 July 1999 in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. He began his artistic journey in 2015 through album acting and later transitioned to music direction and singing. His first singing project was released in 2016 under Music Mall DVD marketing.
Career
[edit]Breakthrough (2019–present)
[edit]Ajmal gained attention with his 2019 single "Paravasa Lokaha", followed by "Monjinu Monju". His later works, including "Nin Mizhiyil", "Monju", "Kadalundi Desham", and "Mera Ishq", helped him achieve wider recognition.
In 2021, he debuted in Tamil music with the track "Unnai Usira Nanachene".
Rise to fame (2022–2023)
[edit]In 2022, he released "Nin Neela Mizhikalil", which gained notable popularity. His 2023 releases, including "Parayuvan", "Maanasam Mizhi Ezuthum", "Edi Penne", "Nira Mizhikal", and "Karuppazhakane", received attention on social platforms.
