Encyclopedia articles need to be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources, not just to materials produced by the creator of the subject being discussed. This is important so that the article can meet Wikipedia's verifiability policy and the notability of the subject can be established. If you still feel that this subject is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, please rewrite your submission to comply with these policies.

Aisera is an American artificial intelligence (AI) software company that developed agentic AI and self-service AI agents for enterprises such as IT, HR, and customer service.[1] In November 2025, the company was acquired by Automation Anywhere.[2]
History
[edit]Aisera was founded in September 2017 by Muddu Sudhakar (who served as its first CEO) and Christos Tryfonas.[3] The company is headquartered in Santa Clara, California.
The company raised $20 million in a 2020 Series B round,[4] $40 million in 2021,[4] and $90 million in a Series D round in 2022, led by Goldman Sachs and Thoma Bravo.[3]
In June 2024, Abhi Maheshwari, then CFO, was appointed interim CEO, replacing Sudhakar. Maheshwari was later confirmed as CEO.[5]
Acquisition
[edit]On November 4, 2025, Automation Anywhere announced it had acquired Aisera. Automation Anywhere stated the acquisition was intended to combine its process automation platform with Aisera's conversational AI solutions.[6][7][8][9]
Technology
[edit]Prior to its acquisition, Aisera's platform was based on agentic AI. It leveraged domain-specific large language models (LLMs) for enterprise functions, primarily ITSM, HR, and Customer Service.[10]
Multi-agent systems were designed to be trained on an organization's internal data to understand context and automate multi-step workflows, such as fulfilling service requests or answering employee policy questions. The system functioned by integrating with existing enterprise software, including ServiceNow, Salesforce, and Workday.[11]
