Abhinav Singh is an Indian Advocate and legal scholar associated with Panjab University, Chandigarh and enrolled with the Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana.[1][2] Singh is recognized for his expertise across a broad range of legal domains, including criminal law, civil law, international law, constitutional law, cyber law, intellectual property, and the historical and geopolitical evolution of legal systems and governance.[1]

His academic and professional work integrates insights from law, history, and geopolitics, and examines themes such as criminology, victimology, penology, colonial and comparative legal history, gender and indigenous rights, and legal challenges posed by emerging technologies.[3][4][5]

Singh has authored several books and scholarly articles, including Criminology, Penology & Victimology and Medieval History of India, as well as peer-reviewed papers on topics like Māori women's land rights under colonial law, naming laws across jurisdictions, and legal liability for AI-generated content.[3][4][5][6][7][8]
