Abdulrahman al-A'ama (Arabic: عبد الرحمن الأعمى) is a Syrian politician. He was appointed governor of Homs Governorate by Syria's caretaker government following the fall of the Assad regime.

Early life and education

He was born in Homs, Homs Governorate in 1987. Al-A'ama studied veterinary education and holds degrees in business administration and in human resource management.[2][3]

Role during the Syrian civil war

He served as Minister of Development and Humanitarian Affairs in the Syrian Salvation Government (SSG) from 2018 to 2021, and was a member of the SSG's Political Affairs Department.[2][3]

Post-Assad

After the fall of the Assad regime, al-A'ama was appointed governor of Homs Governorate.[3][2]
