Aaradhya Suresh (born 03 July 2012) is a South African chess player who holds the title of Woman Candidate Master chess title.[1] She is among the top 10 South African chess players in her age category U14 and ranked 2'nd in the Johannesburg region.[2]

Chess career In 2018, Aaradhya played her first local chess tournament as an amateur.[3] Then slowly she played in many local tournaments and started fin tuning her chess skills and received multiple medals and cash prizes. She had an opportuniy to play in 2021 African Youth Chess Championships held in Ghana. She won the bronze medal earning her a provisional WCM title.[4] Aaradhya received the Candidate Master title in 2025 when her FIDE Elo crossed 1600.[5] Aaradhya once again won bronze medal in the 2024 African Youth Chess Championships held in South Africa.[6]

She has played in South African Junior Closed Chess Championship and won board prizes. She also had an opportunity to play in african youth chess championships and few tournaments in Europe.
