AJD is a 2025 Indian Bengali-language action-thriller-romance film directed by Subir Pal Chowdhury and Mukesh Adhikari. The film features Manas Adhikari, Jyotsna Hader, and Bhuban Dey in lead roles. It is produced by Manas Adhikari, Moumita Adhikari, and Subhadata Industries Pvt. Ltd., under the banner of *Manas Adhikari Production*.
Plot
[edit]Anjali and Dev are torn apart by a tragic accident, leading each to believe the other is dead. Seven years later, Anjali, now a Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), discovers through a newspaper article that Dev is alive and in custody at a police station in Kolkata, accused of murdering his wife.
Determined to uncover the truth, Anjali brings Dev home and listens to his story. She soon realizes he has been framed by members of Kolkata's criminal underworld. Risking her career and safety, Anjali launches her own investigation. In the end, she exposes the conspiracy and proves Dev's innocence. The film concludes with the emotional reunion of the two lovers.
