Comment: Insufficient coverage, WP:RS, and also look through WP:MOS as this is not stylistically written like an encyclopedic Wiki article. Pegnawl (talk) 01:54, 9 September 2025 (UTC)
A1 SolarStore
[edit]A1 SolarStore is an American e-commerce company that sells solar power equipment and components, including solar panels, inverters, and batteries. Established in Miami, Florida, in 2017, the company primarily operates as an online marketplace and distributor for residential and commercial solar installations.
History
[edit]A1 SolarStore was founded in Miami, Florida, in 2017. Initially focused on direct sales, the company expanded its logistics network over subsequent years, adding numerous fulfillment centers across the United States to facilitate direct-to-consumer and wholesale pickup and shipping. By 2024, the company stated it had become a direct distributor for several solar manufacturers, which allowed it to source and sell components such as bifacial solar panels and battery storage systems [1][2][3]
Operations
[edit]The company's primary business model is the sale and distribution of major solar equipment brands for do-it-yourself (DIY) and contractor installations. It distributes components for various system types, including grid-tie, off-grid, and hybrid solar systems[4].
A1 SolarStore has been noted for its engagement with the solar DIY community. In 2020, it launched an online publication, A1 Solar Magazine [5]. The company also sponsors the annual A1 Solar Scholarship, a contest encouraging students to develop proposals related to clean energy and climate solutions[6].
Corporate Social Responsibility
[edit]A1 SolarStore supports engineering students through the A1 Solar Scholarship, a yearly CSR initiative co-sponsored by Wesco and SetPile. In 2024, the program awarded US$2,250 in scholarships to three students.[7][8]
