The A-7 Portable Engine / Prop Hoist is an aviation Ground support equipment use as a Engine crane and for large propeller lifting requirements and maintenance. It is designed and produced by the General Bronze Corporation (founded 1931) in New York. It was develop for the United States Army Air Corps in preparation for World War II.[1]
