3v3 Floorball is a version of normal floorball played on a smaller field and with only 3 field players.
Since 2024, the International Floorball Federation (IFF) holds a world championship of this modality every year, being the 3v3 a project to spread Floorball worldwide, being fast, very dynamic and entertaining matches.
In addition, it is also considered an alternative option to get Floorball to the Olympic Games, as it is an easier discipline to organize and popularize around the world, according to people like the president of the IFF.[3] The 3v3 World Championship has been held every year.
As of today, 2 world championships have been held, where the trend clearly shows a great interest in this new modality.[1]
