On 26 November 2024, Israel approved a ceasefire deal with Hezbollah. The ceasefire is expected to begin on 27 November.[1]

The approved ceasefire would last sixty days, during which Israeli and Hezbollah forces would move away from the border between Israel and Lebanon.[2]

Minister of National Security Itamar Ben-Gvir warned that the ceasefire would strengthen Hezbollah and called it "a mistake".[3]
