2013 Demo's is the debut demo release by the American hardcore punk band Knocked Loose. Initially released on October 27, 2013, under the title "Manipulator (Demo)", the band later renamed it "2013 Demo's" when it was uploaded to their Bandcamp page in 2014. The demo features two tracks, "The Have Nots" and "Manipulator," which helped establish the band's early sound and identity.[1]

Background and themes

[edit]

Knocked Loose was originally formed in June 2013 under the name "Manipulator". However, after announcing their debut show for July 26, 2013, they were contacted by another band with the same name. This led them to change their name to Knocked Loose before releasing their first demo. The songs on "2013 Demo's" showcase the band's raw, aggressive style, blending hardcore punk and metalcore influences.[2]

Legacy

[edit]

Although "2013 Demo's" was a limited release and is no longer available on Bandcamp, it remains an important part of Knocked Loose's history. The demo laid the foundation for their later work, including their breakout EP Pop Culture in 2014.[3]
