Demi Sims (born 6 September 1996) is an English television personality. She has appeared on The Only Way is Essex, Celeb Ex in the City, Celebs Go Dating, CelebAbility, and House of Sims and is scheduled to participate on the undercard of KSI vs Dillon Danis. She was once described as one of the "very few openly bisexual women in mainstream reality TV".

Life and career

Sims was born on 6 September 1996[1] and came out as bisexual in her late teens.[2] She suffers from vitiligo[1] and is the half-sister of Chloe Sims[3] and the cousin of Joey Essex.[4] Both Demi and Chloe and their brother Charlie Sims and sister Frankie Sims[5] have all appeared on The Only Way Is Essex;[6] Chloe, Charlie, and Frankie appeared from 2011, 2013, and 2019,[7] while Demi appeared in series 12 in 2014 before becoming a regular cast member in November 2018.[1]

The following year, she appeared on that year's series of Celebs Go Dating, later dating that series' Megan Barton-Hanson; the pair later appeared on Eating With My Ex,[8] a BBC Three show where ex-partners debrief their relationships,[9] and were described in December 2020 by Vice as two of the "very few openly bisexual women in mainstream reality TV" alongside Chloe Ferry and the cast of The Bi Life.[10] Sims appeared on Barton-Hanson's podcast You Come First later that month[11] before appearing on CelebAbility[12] and Celeb Ex in the City[13] and subsequently dated Leonie McSorley of Ex on the Beach and Francesca Farago of Too Hot to Handle.[1] Shortly after breaking up with the latter, Sims was involved in a love triangle on The Only Way is Essex and then did not date for about three years.[6]

Demi, Chloe, and Frankie left The Only Way is Essex in July 2022.[14] Later that month, the trio, Charlie, and his girlfriend and their manager Georgia Shults were signed for House of Sims,[5] a Keeping Up with the Kardashians-style documentary series aired on OFTV.[15] By the end of that year,[16] Demi had launched an OnlyFans account in preparation for the series.[17] The first episode of House of Sims aired in May 2023, with subsequent episodes airing weekly.[18] Demi and Frankie moved to Los Angeles to film the series, but moved back to Essex after filming following an argument with Chloe and Charlie,[19] which featured on the second series of House of Sims, broadcast in March 2024.[20] In April 2024, Ben Pulsford of Closer wrote that the second series "somehow went from a wholesome postcard from LA to Big Brother's Fight Night"[21] and Netflix aired the first series.[7] Chloe stated in March 2025 that there would not be a third series.[22]

Demi and Frankie announced a podcast together, Sims Squared, in March 2024,[1] and reappeared on The Only Way is Essex in late 2024[23] for a one-off appearance supporting Harry Derbidge, who had split up with Joe Blackman.[24] Demi subsequently dated Eve Gale from Love Island[4] and Jazz Saunders from Made in Chelsea[25] and was in March 2025 scheduled to participate on the undercard of KSI vs Dillon Danis,[26] though this was later postponed.[27]
