Colors Infinity is an Indian pay television channel owned by JioStar, a joint venture between Viacom18 and Disney India. Launched on July 31, 2015, it primarily broadcasts English-language entertainment programming, including American and British television series, reality shows, and lifestyle programming. The channel is aimed at the urban, English-speaking audience in India.[1][2][3]

History

Colors Infinity was launched as part of Viacom18's expansion into the English-language entertainment space in India. It was positioned to compete with other established channels in the genre, such as Star World and Zee Café. The channel was co-curated at launch by prominent Indian film personalities Karan Johar and Alia Bhatt, who were involved in selecting the initial programming lineup.[4]

Original programming

Along with airing syndicated TV series, it also started producing its own original series. Till date it has produced four original series.

  • The Stage[5] is an English language singing show that premiered on 10 October 2015. Season 1 was hosted by Shibani Dandekar and was judged by Vishal Dadlani, Monica Dogra, Ehsaan Noorani, and Devraj Sanyal.[6]
  • Born Stylish was a celebrity talk show dedicated to fashion and style, and premiered on Saturday, 28 November 2015.[7] They also produced a one-episode special show called Journeys of a Lifetime.[8]
  • Vogue BFFs is a new-format talk show, where a Bollywood celeb is joined by his/her lesser known BFF (Best Friend Forever), was premiered on Saturday, 24 September 2016 at 9 PM on Colors Infinity, hosted by Kamal Sidhu.
  • Top Model India is the English language modeling show that premiered on 4 February 2018, hosted by Lisa Haydon.
  • Motu Patlu Seedhi Baat, was TV movie premiered on Sunday 16 March 2025 at 12 PM & 8 PM on Colors Infinity
