Codimg is software designed to provide objective video feedback, primarily in the fields of education, medical simulation and human resources.
Developed by the Spanish company Algifra in 2017 [1], Codimg is available for Windows and as an iOS app.
Features
[edit]The main use of Codimg is to provide analyses of common workplace and institutional scenarios through video. This video can either be streamed live to the software or pre-recorded and imported retrospectively.
The analysis is done through a digital template containing buttons which can be clicked as needed whilst the scenario is being observed.
This creates a short video clip which shows the piece of video which pertains to the clicked button.
Additional information can be added to the video through secondary buttons.
The video clips and data generated can then be analysed using tools in the software to obtain statistical data on scenarios.
The most relevant video clips can be compiled into presentations and provide objective evidence in debriefings of scenarios.

Codimg is currently used by forensic psychologists at the Child Welfare Court in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria as a non-intrusive method of collecting reliable testimony from minors[2][3]..
It is used by the Gabinete Psicopedagógico in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria to assess the psychological needs of children[4].
Education
Codimg is used in schools such as Torquay Academy (Torquay, UK)[5] and Colegio Miralmonte (Murcia, Spain)[6] as a tool for analysing and monitoring the performance of teachers and students.como herramienta para analizar y monitorizar el rendimiento de profesores y alumnos.
In higher education, Codimg is used as a teaching and debriefing tool at Universidad Europea del Atlántico[7] in Spain and the Universidad Las Palmas de Gran Canaria[8].
