Bonebreakers MMA (or simply Bonebreakers) is an academy and team specialized in mixed martial arts based in Mexico City, Mexico.[2][3] The gym has a presence in almost every state in the country.[4]

Bonebreakers has actively participated in the creation and consolidation of the Latin American Mixed Martial Arts Council (CLAMM) and the Federación de Artes Marciales Mixtas-Equidad y Juego Limpio (FAMM-EJL) with the goal of ensuring that mixed martial arts have a regulated and stable structure in Mexico, both at the amateur and professional levels.

History

[edit]

Bonebreakers was established in 2005 by Raul "Senik" Salas. He trained traditional martial arts from a young age.[1] In February 2018, former UFC fighter Augusto "Dodger" Montaño was appointed head instructor of Bonebreakers, replacing Salas.
