About me

My Name is Ravan, I am an active editor & a former admin in Arabic Wikipedia. I'm a former member of MCDC, drafting the new Movement Charter for Wikimedia Movement, a former Affcom member. I have attended :

My work

I've been editing Wikipedia since 2008 and a former admin for 4 years, I have more than 900 new articles created by me and more than 20,000 edits, I've founded Iraqi Wikimedians user group, and organized Wiki Loves Monument 3 times for my country. I managed more than 7 workshops and editathons in several cities in Iraq, I've created two Wiki-Educational curriculums to teach newbies how to edit, I co-founded Wikiwomen prize to increase the content of females in Wikipedia. Currently, I'm a former member of MCDC, drafted the Movement Charter, currently a member of the Wiki Women Taskforce/Advisory Council, and a member in MENA Regional Funds Committee (RFC).
