Behemoth! is an upcoming American drama film written and directed by Tony Gilroy. The film stars Pedro Pascal, Eva Victor, Olivia Wilde, Matthew Lillard, and Will Arnett.

It was announced in March 2025 that Tony Gilroy was to write and direct the film, with Oscar Isaac attached to star.[1] However, Isaac had exited the project by August, with Pedro Pascal in negotiations to replace him. Searchlight Pictures acquired the project.[2] Pascal was confirmed in October, alongside David Harbour, Eva Victor and Olivia Wilde joining the cast,[3][4][5] with principal photography beginning on October 27, 2025 in Los Angeles, and wrapping on January 23, 2026.[6][7] Damián García was confirmed to be the film's cinematographer that same day.[8] In November, it was announced that Matthew Lillard, Alexa Swinton, and Margarita Levieva would join the cast.[9] In January 2026, Harbour exited the film to rest due to being overwhelmed by the final season of Stranger Things,[10] with Will Arnett cast to take his place.[11] Erik Griffin later joined the cast.[12]

Music

In January 2026, it was reported that James Newton Howard and Alan Silvestri were scoring the film. Howard had previously scored Gilroy's previous directorial efforts; Michael Clayton (2007), Duplicity (2009), and The Bourne Legacy (2012). Howard and Silvestri will be two of seven composers working on the score.[13]
