An editor has asked for deletion of this category. The nominator's reason for doing this is: One of our practices is to leave red links in articles, because they show us articles that we need to create. Another is not to link to other Wikipedias' articles: either the article exists here and we should link to that instead or the article doesn't exist here and we want the red link as described above. This category and the template that populates it counteract both of those by replacing what would otherwise be a red link with a link to another Wikipedia. Therefore, I propose deleting Template:Interlanguage link, its redirects, and this category. A discussion page has not been created yet! These categories are used to track, build and organize lists of pages needing "attention en masse" (for example, pages using deprecated syntax), or that may need to be edited at someone's earliest convenience.
These categories also serve to aggregate members of several lists or sub-categories into a larger, more efficient list (discriminated by classifications).
