I am a semi-retired veterinarian. I had planned to spend a year or so
updating and editing Wikipedia articles on pet health topics. Some are
good, but some really need input from an experienced veterinarian. Today,
I attempted to add a sentence to your article on lick granuloma in dogs: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lick_granuloma It was rejected by something called Clubot that
interpreted my sentence change as a form of vandalism.
Then I went to an article on Wiki called Proventricular Dilitation Syndrome. It has incorrect data and is seriously out-of-date. You maintain another webpage called avian bornavirus. However, those two diseases are one-in-the-same. If it's going to take your approving me as an administrator to merge and update those two pages and correct errors and omissions in veterinary topics I am willing to become an administrator. But I do not want to spend the coming year battling robots or administrators that arbitrarily lock their articles against legitimate revisions or additions. I am not sure how you respond to letters like this one. However, I can always be reached at yourpetsfriend at gmail dot com
Best wishes, Ron Hines DVM PhD Caralampio2
