Non-encyclopaedic article

This article doesn't appear to be encyclopaedic. JacktheBrown (talk) 21:34, 28 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

It's not well-written, but it might be salvageable. Sources like [1] are quite useful. Mentioned in NYT [2] (ProQuest) and a guide book[3]. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 06:53, 29 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Adding this [4], I think WP:N is likely satisfied. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 07:11, 29 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Ideally, the content should be merged into Austin United States Courthouse with a redirect. There doesn't seem to be enough here for a standalone article. RegentsPark (comment) 17:22, 29 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
According to sources, it was something of an icon. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 17:46, 29 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The sources are all about the demolition and dated to the time of the demolition. If there were sources from other time periods ("On my walk to the opera I gazed helplessly at the crumbling facade of the iconic Intel Shell" sort of thing!), then sure. But all we have here is that it was demolished and made into a courthouse, for which we already have an article. I notice that an editor is adding in information about the courthouse to pad the article! RegentsPark (comment) 21:07, 29 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
