Template:Television network original programming category is used on the category pages of television network original programming categories (such as Category:Starz original programming) to explain the inclusion criteria.

Per WP:TVCATS: TV series should avoid network categories when they were not originally produced for that network. Exceptions to this include co-productions (such as The 4400), or when a show changes networks during its original run.

What it does

The template will perform the following:

  • Adds the text shown above to the top of the category.
  • Add a category ToC depending on the category size via Template:CatAutoTOC.
  • Adds the category to the network main category, if it exists.
  • If a country is supplied, it adds the category to the "<country> television series by network" category, such as Category:American television series by network.
