Paleontological documents
Hi, I'm working on eurypterids and I plan to work with the chasmataspidids as well, so I would need some documents:
Chernyshev, B. I. (1948). New representative of Merostomata from the Lower Carboniferous. Vol. 2. pp. 119–130.{{cite book}}
:|journal=
ignored (help)Caster, Kenneth E.; Kjellesvig-Waering, Erik N. (1964). Upper Ordovician eurypterids of Ohio. ASIN B0007DOLSM.{{cite book}}
:|journal=
ignored (help)Caster, Kenneth E.; Brooks, H. K. (1956). "New fossils from the Canadian–Chazan (Ordovician) hiatus in Tennessee". Bulletins of American Paleontology. 36: 157–199.
For Unionopterus, Eocarcinosoma and Chasmataspis (at the moment without article), respectively. It is important that they contain images, especially the first, I say this because in my first request, the document had no images (I do not know if it was like that or they were missing).
Thanks in advance. Super Ψ Dro 20:58, 20 July 2018 (UTC)
- @Super Dromaeosaurus: #3 (Bulletins of American Paleontology) is available here. -Gazal world (talk) 22:09, 20 July 2018 (UTC)
- Thank you! It seems that the second one is also there. That only leaves the first one. Does anyone have it? Super Ψ Dro 08:50, 21 July 2018 (UTC)
- Nobody has access to the book? Super Ψ Dro 08:15, 30 July 2018 (UTC)
- Super Dromaeosaurus, not sure what the point of these repeated questions is, but you could certainly help the process by providing more information on what you're looking for. For instance, you're talking about a volume 2 but the Google page says volume 7. Also, you're now talking about a book but above you indicated that it is an article in a journal. Also, if it is indeed from a journal, you could try to find the ISSN (because for Ukrainian titles there are often vast amounts of different transcriptions, making it very hard for others to check their local library catalogues for it.) — Pajz (talk) 19:06, 30 July 2018 (UTC)
- I regret these inconveniences, in the papers that I have read they cited the document with the second volume. I think the OCLC is: 11636720. I can not find anything else. Super Ψ Dro 21:38, 30 July 2018 (UTC)

A Field Guide to Dinosaurs & Dinosaurs: The Encyclopedia
Gee, Henry (2012). A Field Guide to Dinosaurs: The Essential Handbook for Travelers in the Mesozoic. Chartwell Books. ISBN 0785829024.
- Glut, Donald F. (2009). Dinosaurs: The Encyclopedia, Supplement 6. California: McFarland & Company. ISBN 0786441879.
Collecting some sources for a major expansion of Siamosaurus, sandbox draft:[1]. I'm unable to see what pages I need for the first book since it doesn't show them in a preview, but for Dinosaurs: The Encyclopedia, Supplement 6 they are 117, 489, and 490.
Much appreciated, ▼PσlєοGєєкƧɊƲΔƦΣƉ▼ 18:24, 28 August 2018 (UTC)
- @PaleoGeekSquared: Gee's book doesn't have an index entry for Siamosaurus. Is there another word you'd be looking for; what made you think this would be a useful source? The book has a page on Spinosaurus, one on Baryonyx, and perhaps one or two that mention Spinosauridae generally. --Worldbruce (talk) 23:27, 7 September 2018 (UTC)
- I'm sure that I needed something from Gee's book for the article, but since I put the request up I seem to have forgotten what it was exactly. You could send me the only pages from the book that discuss or mention spinosaurids, then? ▼PσlєοGєєкƧɊƲΔƦΣƉ▼ 00:48, 8 September 2018 (UTC)
- @PaleoGeekSquared: Can do. Email me so I can return a pdf as an attachment. --Worldbruce (talk) 01:55, 8 September 2018 (UTC)
- Got it, thanks! Now I just need the Donald Glut Supplement pages. ▼PσlєοGєєкƧɊƲΔƦΣƉ▼ 12:31, 8 September 2018 (UTC)

- @Winged Blades of Godric: Only six WorldCat libraries have the 2011 2nd edition OCLC 774901805 (I assume your 2004 is a typo, the only other edition was the 1997 1st edition). Bellezzasolo says they have access to the Bodliean Library, so you might try them, but scanning 167 pages is a big ask. If you're going to use that much of the work, this might be a case where it makes sense to scrape together the $20-$28 to buy the copy on AbeBooks.
- If you can't get any of the source any other way, I have the first edition, which seems to be the same as the 2nd except lacking the postscript. My personal scanning limit for this work would be one chapter, plus end notes, bibliography, and if necessary, index. If that would help you at all, let me know. --Worldbruce (talk) 02:19, 23 September 2018 (UTC)
- Worldbruce, Thanks! The end notes, bibliography et al are not much important for my purposes and I won't need it.Chapter 1 and Chapter 4 remains my topmost priority.Feel free to send either of them, per your wish:-)∯WBGconverse 15:18, 23 September 2018 (UTC)
- My local library have this book (Bandopadhyay, Oxford). I asked to librarian, but they were unable to find this book. If they would find out the book, I will tell you. At present, It would be best way as Worldbruce suggested. -Gazal world (talk) 05:25, 23 September 2018 (UTC)
- @Gazal world:--Many thanks for your efforts. If the book is indeed located, please scan and dispatch Chapter 3 and Chapter 5, shall you wish so:-) I'm assuming that Worldbruce will access the book faster than you:-)∯WBGconverse 15:18, 23 September 2018 (UTC)

- So you do have access to the volume (2nd ed.)? In other words, I can cancel my hold? — Pajz (talk) 13:13, 25 September 2018 (UTC)
- Pajz, regrettably not a single library around my area has the book and I am unable to access it, in entirety.I managed to access Chapter-7 from the digital repository of a public-university and the post-script through one of my friends, who had that particular piece, only. ∯WBGconverse 06:02, 26 September 2018 (UTC)

- My case is bit difficult. In the database of Gujarat Vidyapith library, the book is available, but they are unable to find where the book is located.
