- I have come across page moving and redirect problems. I may be of use to Wikipedia if I have this right. Chhandama (talk) 03:45, 29 December 2016 (UTC)
- @Chhandama: Could you provide an example of a page you tried to move but could not or some other situation during which you would have benefitted from having this user right? ~ Rob13Talk 20:55, 2 January 2017 (UTC)
- Like these corrections in 2016 on Lal Thanhawla, Alberto Mantovani, Ziona, Alcohol prohibition in Tamil Nadu, Talk:Lalthantluanga, Baer-Babinet law, Louis Daniel Beauperthuy, Regional Institute of Paramedical and Nursing Sciences, Variant surface glycoprotein, Trichomonadida, leaving behind unnecessary redirects with a need for checking/moving the sub-pages. Thank you. Chhandama (talk) 05:20, 3 January 2017 (UTC)

I've initiated several discussions re specific game name titles over ~3 years (the latest here), including one user at his user Talk whom I knew would be most critical/challenging in filtering my thoughts, have requested title restorations (one example here). My views about this have moderated thru time from early bolder view, after seeing a lot of complexity about this. (E.g. even though I think a case for Hasami shogi → Hasami Shogi could be stongly made, I feel it would end up somewhat disruptive to the shogi variant editors; and I've simply changed from thinking some game names are inappropriately lower case, e.g. "international draughts", even when in sources it is mixed.) So my view re game name changes is limited to only where the literature dominates/screams out, e.g. Grand Chess, Alice chess → Alice Chess, Chinese checkers → Chinese Checkers, Double Chess, so on, and I believe no specific clarification or standard re game name titles exists beyond what predominates in RSs. (Re some like Double Chess, there is relatively scant literature, but what is is cap'd 100%, so qualifies as "dominates".) Thanks for consider. IHTS (talk) 20:45, 1 January 2017 (UTC)
p.s. Sample gray areas I won't touch: "Fool's mate" (vs Fool's Mate), "Fast chess" (vs Fast Chess; reference to game name "fast chess", but reference to "Fool's mate" is nearly never "fool's mate", go figure). IHTS (talk) 23:25, 2 January 2017 (UTC)
