St Sadwrn's Church is a medieval church in the village of Llansadwrn, Isle of Anglesey, Wales. The building dates from the 14th century and underwent renovations in the 19th century. It was designated as a Grade II* listed building on 7 August 1966.

History and architecture

Dating from the early 14th century, St Sadwrn's Church is dedicated to the namesake St Sadwrn. The church's nave and southern aisle, were most likely added during the late 15th or early 16th centuries. However, the windows perhaps date from the 14th century. The church was re-roofed in 1710, and minor repairs were carried out in 1847. The church was fully restored between 1883 and 1885 by John Middleton & Son. It was designated as a Grade II* listed building on 7 August 1966.[1] The reasons for it being listed included it being a probable Celtic site with surviving medieval windows, although the interior was heavily restored.[1]
