  • Triangulum (nom) by User:Casliber. This small constellation in the northern sky forms a long and narrow triangle. Known to the ancient Babylonians and Greeks, Triangulum was one of the 48 constellations listed by the 2nd-century astronomer Ptolemy. The first quasar ever observed, 3C 48, lies within Triangulum's boundaries.
  • SMS Schleswig-Holstein (nom) by User:Parsecboy. Named for a German province, this ship was the last of the five Deutschland-class battleships built by the Imperial German Navy. Three men were killed on board during shelling in the Battle of Jutland in World War I. The very first shots of World War II were fired by Schleswig-Holstein when she opened fire on the Polish fortress at Westerplatte from the port of Danzig early on 1 September 1939.
