Ever consider creating a username?

Hi - noticed you've been adding a slew of births and deaths for all sorts of figures from the 17th and 18th centuries. Have you considered creating a username? There are many benefits to having your own username; based on your edit history, I think you might find it most useful to be able to mark edits as "minor". Just a thought. - jredmond 15:14, 15 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Benjamin Wadsworth

You have just added Benjamin Wadsworth to the 1737 Births, did you mean to add him to the deaths? [1] Cheers TigerShark 19:11, 18 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We welcome and appreciate your contributions, such as Pete Gross, but we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from either web sites or printed material. Please stop. If you continue to add copyrighted material, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Owen× 01:51, 21 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I spoke to this person. They told me that:
I didn’t realize that initially and I was hopeful that the information would just serve as a reminder of people regarding who Pete was. Yesterday I was trying to revise the text to the point that it was original, but it still failed. I’m doing a complet re-write from scratch in hpoes of repairing the issue.
I am awaiting clearance from the Sehawks after I got the first copyright error.
So it seems like it was good faith and it won't happen again. I lifted the block. Deco 21:14, 21 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]
