Welcome to the World animation work group of WikiProject Animation! This group was formed to better organize articles on World animation in a spirit of cooperation.
Scope
This group includes within its scope all articles related to animation around the world, its series, films, characters, people, culture, history and so on. It aims to expand Wikipedia's resources on animation around the world and its productions in a fair and accurate manner.
This work group does not cover any anime series or films. Any articles related to anime series or films should be within the scope of WikiProject Anime and manga instead of the World animation work group of WikiProject Animation.
Participants
Please feel free to add yourself here with # {{User|YOURUSERNAME}} in the participants list, and to indicate any areas of particular interest in alphabetical order. If you haven't already done so, please also add your name to the participants' list of our parent WikiProject Animation.
Members
To join the World animation work group, edit this section and add # {{user|yourusername}} and any comments to the following list of members in alphabetical order by username.
Any articles that are within the scope of this project should be tagged with the {{WikiProject Animation}} banner, and add |world-animation=yes as this will automatically put the page in the appropriate categories, such as Category:World animation work group articles.

This is a list of recognized content, updated weekly by JL-Bot (talk·contribs) (typically on Saturdays). There is no need to edit the list yourself. If an article is missing from the list, make sure it is tagged or categorized (e.g. Category:World animation work group articles) correctly and wait for the next update. See WP:RECOG for configuration options.
This article is of the utmost importance to the project, as it provides key information about a major topic that is fundamental to a study of the subject.
This article is significant but has limited importance to the project, as it expands the reader's overall knowledge of the subject into areas of general interest.
This article has no real significance to the project, but it covers additional topics of general or specific interest, some of which could be described as trivia, though all are notable in their own right. Others may be articles of high importance to another project that have an indirect connection with World animation. The category was created by the work group of WikiProject Animation to counter-balance "top importance" and to place "mid-importance" into the actual middle. In addition it serves to separate trivia from articles of low but significant importance.
