Representable number
Appearance
Representable numbers are are numbers capable of being represented exactly in a given binary number format. The format could can either be an integer or floating point numbers. Representable numbers are often visually depicted on a number line.
Integer examples
The integers 0 through 7 are representable in a 3 binary digit code in the usual binary number format. All other integers are not representable by in this format.
