Policies and guidelines   Content   Conduct   Summary

You can edit other people's work, they will edit yours. If your edits are undone, don't take offense - it is just part of the wiki process.

Do's

  • Use the Help desk for problems or even uncertainties
  • Fill in the edit-summary box when making an edit
  • Communicate on a talk page about changes, concerns or contentions

Don'ts

  • Stress too much about formatting at first, focus on getting the information clear, neutral and sourced
  • Use multiple user accounts
  • Edit war, like reverting others edits over and over - instead use the talk page
  • Add anything you didn't personally write yourself (copyright is important!)

You should now have enough idea of the spirit of the guidelines and policies to begin editing with some confidence.
