Real Achievements

I see no real achievements from this guy. He's described in terms of dubious accomplishments, like being the president of user groups he founded himself, coauthoring never-heard-about "manifestos" and being member of organizations where his role is not fully explained (what are his everyday duties with java.net or OSI?). He is also said to be an "activist for the creation of open source", but his activities on this direction are not clear to me.

He's surely famous in his circle, no doubt. But what does he do to deserve this fame (other than continuous self-promotion)? Am I missing something? --Damiens.rf 18:59, 7 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
