Defensor was a character from the fictional Transformers universe.
Transformers: Generation 1
Template:Transformers character Defensor could be formed from the entire combination of the five members of the Autobot group called the Protectobots.
Animated series
Defensor appeared in the late season 2 with no backstory to where he came from. He is made up of the five Protectobots.
In episode 25 of Headmasters, "The Emperor of Destruction Vanishes on an Iceberg", the Autobots study the Decepticon activity throughout the world, and Fortress Maximus orders the cassettes to figure out what's going on. The Autobots mobilize their forces, including Defensor. [1]
In episode 27 of Headmasters, "Miraculous Warriors, Targetmasters Part 1" the combined might of Computron, Defensor and Raiden is used to destroy the abandoned Decepticon base on Earth. [2]
In episode 34 of Headmasters, "The Final Showdown on Earth: Part One" Predaking and Bruticus begin attacking cruise ships in the ocean. Spike and Carly start to organize teams to repel the Decepticons - the Protectobots, the Throttlebots and the clones. [3]
Toys
- Generation 1 Defensor
- Defensor was released in the same packaging as the other combiners. [4] This toy was redecoed as Guard City, a Takara exclusive. [5]
- Generation 2 Defensor
- A redeco of the Generaiton 1 toy was proposed, but only produced in limited numbers as samples.
Transformers: Universe
Defensor is the name of the combined form of the Micromaster Protectabots, a slight redeco of Generation 1 Sixturbo. He was not sold as a set, but only as the six individual Protectabots. He was initially a Kaybee store exclusive. [6]
