Merge with function stack

[edit]

I think this is probably a good idea. Someday, if someone else doesn't do it first, I'll edit function stack to have the information that isn't redundant. Omnifarious 04:10, 2 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I could see it either way - one article or two - but having one might help avoid accidental redundancy. Deco 04:35, 2 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm in favor, and think everything should go to function stack — the stack frame is part of the function stack. --Mgreenbe 23:08, 3 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm in favor of deleting this article. It provides almost nothing that is not already covered in Stack (data structure), and it is also far too specific to a particular programming environment (namely, C). Agateller 14:07, 18 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

That would mean just plain redirecting to call stack; that sounds fine to me, so I'll do that. We can add information on stack frames and what variously goes in them on that page. Cheers! --Mgreenbe 20:04, 18 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
