The Second Panzer Army was a German tank army that fought during World War II.

Initially it was formed under the name Panzergruppe Guderian, uner the command of Heinz Guderian. Since October 5, 1941 it has become known as the Second Panzer Army. Guderian's army played a significant role in the initial succes of the blitzkrieg in Operation Barbarossa, the invasion of the Soviet Union.
