CE-mark generator

There are not many free resources for generating CE declarations of conformity, including cases where a notified body number is required.

I came across this free online generator: https://www.supradoc.com/ce-generator.

It is associated with a company but is free to use and could be helpful for readers who need to prepare CE documentation.

Would it be appropriate to add this to the External links section? Wildarts (talk) 06:21, 5 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]

meaning of the CE acronym

A Wikipedian wrote that no official definition for the CE acronym could be found. (see commented text embedded in the article)

If so, I would expect the cause to be the internal politics of the EU, which might cause the European Commision (the governing body, headquartered in a French-speaking country) to try to avoid giving the appearance of French linguistic imperialism. There might be evidence of this in discussion forums or in unofficial documents of the commission. Regardless, following is a workspace to collect citations, regardless of authoritativeness, that confirm or deny the meaning of the CE acronym.
