Musical style

Good evening.

I reverted one of your edits on the Fleetwood Mac article adding a Musical style section. While adequately sourced, I removed it as there is not enough information here to constitute an entire section. Furthermore, section did not distinguish the different between the different eras of the band, which encompassed several different genres starting with blues. I am not entirely opposed to restoring parts of this information, but it would need to be overhauled to be suitable for inclusion. Perhaps a Musical style and influences section would be acceptable or even adding a few paragraphs about the band's legacy. Let me know what your thoughts are. Information icon Hello, I'm Zackmann08. Thank you for your recent contributions to Ozzy Osbourne. When you were adding content to the page, you added duplicate arguments to a template which can cause issues with how the template is rendered. In the future, please use the preview button before you save your edit; this helps you find these errors as they will display in yellow at the top of the page. Thanks. Gareth Thomas

ABout edit warring, [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Gareth_Thomas_(actor)&diff=prev&oldid=1318272579 I have learnt that you cannot do more than 3 in 24 hours, and I know that I am at my limit which I will not overstep. However, you've done FOUR reverts in a few hours. My version was stable since 27th September meaning I had not touched it since that day. Would you like to self-revert and then we discuss the nationality on his talk page? Stateside Steve Happy (talk) 22:47, 22 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war, according to the reverts you've made to Gareth Thomas (actor). This means that you are repeatedly reverting content back to how you think it should be, despite knowing that other editors disagree. Once it is known that there is a disagreement, users are expected to collaborate with others, avoid editing disruptively, and try to reach a consensus – rather than repeatedly reverting the changes made by other users.

Important points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive behavior – regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not engage in edit warring – even if you believe that you are right.

You need to discuss the disagreement on the article's talk page and work towards a revision that represents consensus among everyone involved. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution if discussions reach an impasse. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you continue to engage in edit warring, you may be blocked from editing. Untamed1910 (talk) 23:52, 22 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
