Don't Click Play is the upcoming third studio album by American singer Ava Max. It is set to be released on August 22, 2025, through Atlantic Records.[1]
Background
On April 9, 2025, Max shared a link to a website called "Don't Click Play on Ava Max", where visitors could click a "Sign the Petition" button and listen to a snippet of an upcoming album single.[2] She announced the album on May 1,[1] by quoting Ed Sheeran's announcement of his upcoming eighth studio album, Play on Twitter.[3]
Promotion
"Lost Your Faith" was released as the album's lead single on February 7, 2025, along with a visualizer.[4] Described as a "driving breakup song" with a "1980s rock-esque straight beat" that transitions into a "more electronic dance-pop instrumental" in the chorus, the track explores the emotional unraveling of a fading relationship.[4] The song's music video was released on March 18, 2025.[5]
