Extended confirmed

I had my EC revoked last year by the arbitration committee. I have since completed the required 500 substantial edits to the best of my knowledge. I applied about a month ago and was refused because I didn't clearly understand the requirements. But hopefully this time I got it correctly. Tashmetu (talk) 13:58, 3 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I had my ECP revoked 5 months ago. Since then, I've made hundreds of meaningful edits and currently have 806 edits. IdanST (talk) 18:16, 7 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I'm already having this flag on my main account. I'm requesting it to edit page which has the protection of Extended confirmed. Sidrat al-Muntaha (talk) 13:18, 15 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Done Confirmed alternate account of ECP user. - Donald Albury 14:38, 15 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I have edited under the IP address 135.180.130.195 and over there I have accumulated 272 edits. On this account I have 230 edits. Doing the math I have made 502 edits (503 once I post this request). As a result, I believe I should be granted extended confirmed status because I would have automatically received it if I was editing on a user account the entire time. Thank you.  Not done Even if your edits as an IP counted towards this requirement, the requirement for WP:XC is not 500 edits, it is the account has existed for at least 30 days and has made at least 500 edits. The edit history for that IP goes to 2 March, which is 14 days ago. My advice would be to take time to learn how Wikipedia works before attempting to jump into pages and topic areas that need the extended confirmed user right to edit, as they are usually highly contentious areas where experience with editing Wikipedia will help avoid issues and/or sanctions, rather than seeking to be granted the right prior to it being automatically granted. - Aoidh (talk) 05:14, 16 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Aoidh I take your advice and I mean it, but on April 2 can I please receive the extended confirmed status? Its not that I want to jump into editing middle eastern conflicts but rather that I should get this group because I would have normally received it. DotesConks (talk) 17:24, 16 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
On the day that is at least 30 days after you created your account and you have made 500 edits you will be automatically granted ECP. Nobody here has to do anything. However, please avoid making trivial or dummy edits to reach the total of 500 edits, as that is considered gaming the system, and may result in you losing ECP. Reason for requesting extended confirmed rights

I have been a wikipedia editor for over a year now and while I only have 423 edits a hugely disproportionate amount of those edits have been large edits which significantly change an article as opposed to smaller edits which just fix typos and nitpick.
