{{CS1 language sources}} generates documentation for subcategories of Category:Articles with non-English-language CS1 sources. It extracts a language code and language name from the category name and passes them to Template:CS1 language sources/core which displays the documentation.

When used on such as Category:CS1 Scottish Gaelic-language sources (gd), the language code is gd, the language name is Scottish Gaelic, and the documentation displayed is:

This is a tracking category for CS1 citations that use the parameter |language=gd to identify a source in Scottish Gaelic. Pages in this category should only be added by CS1 templates and Module:Citation/CS1.
